Creating & Using Your Bag Lady Bag

A Step-by-Step Approach adapted from "Bread Winner, Bread Baker" by Sandy Elsberg:

  1. Purchase a bag. VERY IMPORTANT: you will be carrying this bag EVERYWHERE you go, so it must be light and reflect who you are. A bag you are unwilling to carry with you, for whatever reason, will not work.
  2. Purchase business cards from Alexander's Digital Printing on Young Living website
    1. Log in to www.youngliving.us with your member # and password
    2. Click on the Distributor Resources icon located on the left hand side of page
    3. Follow instructions to customize and order your cards
  3. Make or purchase labels. ALWAYS have your contact information on ALL your sample packages.
  4. Purchase NingXia Red samples and NingXia Red DVDs from Young Living.
  5. Purchase Essential Oil and NingXia Red pocket brochures, and Essential Oil CDs from Sound Concepts.
  6. Purchase a package of 1000 1/6 dram sampler vials with the cap that has a clip and dabber from Acme Vial Co. Their website is www.acmevial.com. An order can be placed by calling 805.239.2666.
  7. Purchase Essential Oil Cards from www.abundanthealth4u.com.
  8. Click Here to download Essential Oil and NingXia Red usage inserts.
  9. Purchase a single hole punch from any office supply store. Purchase Ziploc Sandwich bags from the supermarket.
  10. Assemble your oil sample:
    1. Punch a single hole in an Essential Oil Card.
    2. Put 5 or more drops of Joy, Lavender, Peace & Calming, Peppermint or another oil in the sampler vial.
    3. Clip the sampler vial to the Essential Oil Card.
    4. Place your business card, the appropriate oil usage insert, pocket brochure, audio CD, and Essential Oil Card with sample vial in the Ziploc Sandwich bag.
  11. To assemble your NingXia Red sample place your business card with 1 to 3 juice samples, a pocket Wolfberry brochure, and a NingXia Red DVD in a Ziploc Sandwich bag.
  12. Carry several samples in your bag. Add a few price lists, CD's, DVD's, and a Product Catalogue. Remember: you will be carrying the bag with you wherever you go - keep it light, you can refill it when you run out of samples. If you are driving, you can keep additional samples in the car. You are now good to go!
  13. Make an intention to introduce new people to products daily. This can be done in a "water around the marbles" fashion (i.e. during the course of your daily routine). If your intention is to build quickly, introduce at least 3 to 5 new people to the products daily.
  14. THE FORTUNE IS IN THE FOLLOW UP! Make certain you EXCHANGE samples for your prospect's contact information.
  15. There are many ways to follow up, but the VERY best is to place your prospect in the MarketingScents business building system.
