Ears

"Hi, I was diagnosed with "fluid in ears" a few weeks ago. The ENT told me that I probably had a bacterial infection in the ears before the fluid got there. He said the fluid is a result of an ear infection?
I used Melrose oil on a cotton ball & put in my ears (not all the way in) just in very gently & it worked! Have to use it daily. My ears no longer hurt. Blessings for these oils,"

"Both myself and my daughter had problems with fluid in our ears. I don't know what causes it, however to get rid of it, I used Peppermint on my throat going up to behind the ear,as well as the sinus points. I did the same to my daughter, except put it on her chest as well. (She was 19 months, so my intent was to keep her chest clear of the fluid coming from her ears.) I did this for 3 days straight before I found much improvement. Kept it up for 9 days. Had no problems ever since :) I used this oil because my doctor said to use a decongestate and to use q-tips to wipe the fluid on the inside on the ear (not into the ear though.) I hope you can catch what I mean, and I hope this helps you out."

"Last year sometime I had some fairly sharp pains in one ear -- unusual to put it mildly. I put Thieves outside the ear, along my jaw bone and down the neck and the pain stopped in several minutes. I put Thieves on a few more times and had no more pain."

"About 2 years ago I went to about 3 different doctors who told me I had an ear infection then they would prescribe antibiotics. Even though I had already started using YL I couldn't find an oil(s) that worked. My ears would be totally plugged up. Finally, I went to a specialist and he said it was not an ear infection but plugged eustacian tubes. He told me to pop my ears as many times a day as I could and if that didn't work I would be a candidate for tubes in my ears.
I came home and started doing that and it helped but didn't clear it up. I contacted a friend who recommended that I put a drop or two of Melrose on a cotton ball (small piece) rest it just inside the ear on the ledge above the lobe. The first day it itched and then my ears started draining. The specialist had me return in a month and voila it worked. When the same thing happened this year I knew what to do."
